Mykah has been practicing yoga since 1999 after his first trip to India. In 2007, he decided to make teaching yoga a passion in order to help others enjoy the benefits and reach their full potential. He has lived on multiple ashrams and taken a series of teacher trainings with Trinity & Gia, along with advanced alignment workshops.

His focus these days is on core strength, balancing and twisting postures, all while encouraging alignment and breath. Taking a little bit of a different approach to yoga, he has made his classes more approachable to people who think yoga may not be their cup of tea. His yoga style blurs the lines between workout and spiritual practice and keeps the jargon simple so that beginners feel comfortable. He leads with his words and gives lots of variations to his students, enabling a multi-level class, to expand at the level their bodies are willing to allow.
